Trellech United Community Council recently purchased a defibrillator
which has been installed by the door on the outside wall of Catbrook
Memorial Hall. This device has been registered with the ambulance service
and if you ring 999 with a relevant cardiac problem they will tell you the
location of the nearest defibrillator and give you the PIN to access it.
We cannot publicise the PIN widely, e.g. put it on the notice board as this would invalidate the insurance. However if you live locally and would like to make a note of the PIN please contact John Gooding or Sarah Bowden. To access the defibrillator you will need to enter the four figure PIN followed by the tick symbol (equivalent to an enter key).
The defibrillator is a Zoll AED plus. If you were not able to attend any of the training sessions there is a short training video available on the web site of the manufacturer of the device. The device talks to you and gives you instructions as to how to proceed. Click HERE for the link to the website.
