Catbrook and District Memorial Hall Closure
Obviously the hall remains closed for the foreseeable future but as we find out more about plans to ease lockdown in Wales we really hope to be able to welcome everyone back sometime soon. In the meantime here are a few ‘lockdown friendly’ events should you be interested...
Finally if you have run out of reading material and would like to see what books are available in the hall please email [email protected] to make an appointment. There’s always a great selection and anyone wanting to have a look can do so safely, keeping within any social distancing rules etc. The usual donation per book as always very much appreciated to go towards the upkeep of the hall.
We also have a Catbrook Centenary Quiz... to start celebrating the 100th anniversary of the grand opening of the hall later this year! Just £5 to enter the winner will be able to choose from a great selection of local prizes, plus it is completely contactless and lockdown friendly! Click on the question mark for all the details.
CatBooks book club continues to meet monthly via Zoom and always welcomes new members. The next meeting is at 6pm on Monday 21 September when they’ll be discussing “A Gentleman in Moscow” by Amor Towles. Please let Tracey or Justine know if you’d like to join or click on the cat for more details.
